It Ain't Rocket Science
Viral media ladies and gentlemen, viral media is here to stay! You would think with that we should all govern ourselves accordingly. Now with the advances of the internet and mobile technology information is sent out faster than the HOV lane during rush hour. Now for the last few years blogs have been flooded with "leaked" x rated photographs of celebrities. There's no question that these type of things are happening more often than ever more recently; I finally have something to say about it.
Now I will be the FIRST to tell you that I in no way mind these pictures...in fact I love them; I said it. Seeing the art and beauty that is Amber Rose, Kelly Rowland, and Rihanna etc. is quite fine with me. There is however a problem when you're constantly being caught in compromising positions or if your private stashes are constantly being "leaked."
Simply being out and about today I thought of this topic and then I thought that this whole issue is deeper than just leaked photos. This type of thing now commonly occurs and it's time people adapt. This not only goes for celebs but even people like you and me. This issue boils down to trust, who you trust with those fragile type things. It's evident many celebrities aren't responsible with who sees certain pictures or who they're sent to. If you're constantly in this predicament then change it. You need to start being intimate with a different type of person. This whole thing is an issue of respect, and if someone respects you they wouldn't so something that damaging as to air your private business in such a way. What sparked this post was a tweet I received from my friend Grace. The tweet was a link to see new leaked photos of Amber Rose. Now without question I was hype, I have no problem seeing Amber Rose naked. But I began to also think... well damn pictures of her just came out a few weeks ago. She has to try and control what she's putting out there, for her sake at least. As for right now I will continue to enjoy, but you all be smart with who you send the "good stuff" to ;-).
Be good
Um...yeah, i doubt very highly that the majority of these "leaked" celeb photos are actually leaked at all. Its just another way of staying relevant. All publicity is good publicity as they say. So for (most) celebs, i think your advice is pretty much a moot point.
ReplyDeleteBut for the random people in the world that are keeping the "exposeing smuts" pages on fb in business by sending pics of themselves (or allowing themselves to be photographed/recorded doing nasty things), i think someone needs to step in and talk to these young girls. Cuz THAT is definitely getting out of control. It was bad enough when you heard Susie Q did xyz by word of mouth but literally, its nothing now to get on the 'net and see random naked photo of random teenage (sometimes even preteen, im inclined to believe) girl. Its sad. And definitely why i have no desire to have daughters.
