Your Inner Child

It's been said we're born with sin. But when we're young none of us are aware of that. That statement has a connotation of responsibility for choices you make. But when we're young we have a sense of innocence. You learn differences between right and wrong eventually but you still have a joy and curiosity about the world around you. The world's so new to you that you get excited about the simplest things, there's no ego it's just the joy of the moment.

I think it's important that we don't lose that element of life as we grow. We can't allow our heads to be too gassed up by others. It pays to be humble. If you keep in touch with your inner child's innocence, many of life's normal occurrences will still hold intrigue. For example if you're 25 years old, you've probably been on many dates. But if you still allow yourself to be flattered when asked out you will allow yourself to have an even better time. I'm not saying to think like you don't deserve a date or anything, but more so to be happy to have been asked. Be happy about what was seen in you that was appealing to someone else.

The mere fact that someone sees the humility in you is a plus. Being too into yourself won't ever help. As they say "too much of one thing is good for nothing." I implore you all to continue to try and enjoy the little things. Give yourselves more opportunities to feel joy. Keep an open mind and allow yourself to still be surprised. When you give that positive energy to a positive person, then the same energy shall be reciprocated. I hated dividing fractions yet I love the word "reciprocate" isn't that something? Anyway don't lose those elements of innocence they'll serve you well and allow you to be even happier. And wouldn't everyone like to maximize their happiness? Just a thought....
