"Swag"


We're getting older. We all become more aware of the importance of "swag." I have one problem. I think tooo many people think they have swag. now don't get me wrong, there's different kinds of swags,whatever works for someone. But I think swag is a little more than your style in terms of clothes. Your swag is the whole package you present to society.

Speech- You should have at least an okay vocabulary. You should be able to speak clearly. And be able to look people in the eye when you speak, stuff like that.

Hygiene- I think hygiene is a big deal, taking care of yourself adds to what people see and makes people want to be around you. Keeping your hands and hair groomed the whole 9 is imperative.

They say the emptiest vessels make the most noise. Know that it ain't so much what you're wearing, but how you wear it. You don't have swag if you dress real loud. As we grow we got to learn to use discretion. I think swag is discrete. People tell you that you have swag, you don't tell people. Swag is humble and swag is cool, just don't think labels make all of that. Swag is respect for people. Swag is handling business. Good Morning,lol

    Now adays I feel like this word "swag " gets out of hand. U detailed all the things listed for swag which I would say is all utterlly correct . Swag is just another hood term for someones aura or personality, what they represent so sweet of the fan can leave u like, "dam that nigga has so much swag". Favorite example the movie pootie tang. Lmao: nigga didn't have to do nothing & girls was afta him left and right. So it def has become a topic in society , I just hate when ppl try to hard to "have swag". Either u have it or u don't.

Maybe Men Are Trash

Admittedly, in younger years I was one of those "not all men" type of men.  Please bare with me as I feel the collective eye rolls of any woman reading this. But in recent times I'm noticing that what I was doing in those former moments was not taking myself out of the equation. At the time I thought that I was, but I really wasn't. In recent years, through my dating journeys and speaking with different women, I realize that there are just way too many horror stories about men out there. Maybe A Man Should Love A Woman More Than She Loves Him?

Courtesy: Everything Girls Love It's been 6 years since The Best Man Holiday released.  After going out to catch that movie, a conversation ensued where I heard the phrase that a man should love a woman more than she loves him.
