Know Your Role and Shut Your Mouth!

Image
It's been four weeks since the last post and so much has been going on. I feel compelled to write tonight about the issue of playing your part in friendships and relationships. over the past few weeks I have simply been inspired. It is my belief that any relationship you are in you have to have a clear understanding of the parameters of that relationship. Some questions need not to be asked and some moves need not to be made. The matters of the heart will always be complicated, and there's always going to be a band-aid for every sore. But the main point I would like to bring home is simply that when you know a person's character you know them period. And you should know that any moves this person now makes are not blatantly malicious. When one relationship ends neither party has any type of say in who the next one has relations with especially if the separation wasn't amicable. If a friendship is to continue after this a sense of self esteem and high self security must...

A New Species of Snakes- The Woman

Image
We males tend to get a really bad rap alot of the time. We tend to be called dogs, pigs, assholes you name it. We have a new phenomenon in my circle that we call snaking. What is snaking you ask? Snaking generally revolves around someone making moves without others knowing. Someone's always trying to find out who's snaking. Snaking also can conjure up some negative connotations. For instance, if you ever accuse a woman of snaking, she may be taken back or take some offense to it. I can assure you tht once you master the art of snaking it will treat you well. But some women think being labeled a snake means maybe being labeled as a pop. Well..... it varies, and this is where good ol' doubsle standards we as a society construct kick in. Now a woman can snake and thats fine, but when she becomes comfortable being a snake..... then she starts snaking with multiple guys. Funny thing is is she snaking if others still know?lol guess she defeate3d the purpose after all. But just a...

How Platonic Can We Really Be?

Image
Here's an issue that I think that both men and women can relate to. This is the issue of platonic relationships, or in other words the relationship where you and someone else are "just friends." In relationships like this I think it's highly likely that at least one person if not both people in the relationship has or hs had some sort of more than friendly thoughts of one another. A lot of women label a guy quickly sometimes as a "brother" or like too much of a friend. As a guy I can tell you I'm blessed to have good looking female friends, and as much as we are friends, I'd never put them on the level of "sister" or something. I live in a way where I want to feel like anything can happen I don't shut down people too much. But my question is can a man and woman really have a truly platonic friendship without either party having any miscellaneous feelings? I mean I think so, but I also think that its not an often occurrence. In any event...

Do Nice Guys Really Finish Last?

Image
How nice is too nice? I think this is an important question for women to know and for men to find out. I've been told myself on a few occassions that I was "too nice," what the hell does that mean? I think being nice is being mistaken for being soft. I feel my "niceness" stems from growing up and not seeing my mother treated the right way. I always told myself I'd never try to hurt any woman, at least intentionally. I am usually somewhat offended when I hear someone say that someone's too nice. I think they're genuinely being the way they feel they should be. I always pride myself on being a guy that solidifies a woman's belief that good men still do exist. I'd like to flip things and just say maybe some women aren't ready to be treated nicely because it's not what they're used to. If you don't know how to deal with something for the first time you may shut it downwhen you first experience it. I personally wouldn't change...

Men vs Women....where i think we win somewhere, lol

Image
There's a certain issue I have been monitoring in my mind over the past few years. I see it becoming more prevalent as the years go along. In it's simplest form it's simply why so many women don't get along with each other and why so many guys do. In many of my relationships with women in talking to them one of the first things they usually say is "i don't have a lot of female friends," or "i can't stand women." So on and so forth, lol I want to get to the nature of all this because I find that guys don't like each other if you give us a reason to not like the other person. I've literally been with a girl in the street and that girl judged someone before they opened their mouth and said they didn't like them. Why is it that women have this attitude? is it based off of their past experiences with girlfriends or is it purely ignorance? You can't just go through life feeling negative about so much... unless you want to.... but why...

Why The Mood Is Everything.

Intimacy can come about from a variety of situations. Different circumstances shape our everyday activities. In order for a successful moment or period of intimacy, there are a few factors left to consider. Some of these I will Divulge now : 1. Watch what you say. Too many times you can simply say something dumb, and ha panties go right back up. make sure you speak in the context of the moment. If you are genuinely funny then you should know the rigt jokes to make, that are tailored to your personality. but the most fuck ups occur from simply someone sayin some shit to kill the mood. 2. In order to keep the mood intimate, and special, you gotta keep it sexy. As a guy you gotta be smooth and patient. you being reluctant will mess up your flow, and she will sense it. be smooth but assertive, show a lady that you are a man and you know how to handle your situation. 3. To enhance your mood, besides lighting and othe areas of the environment, you wanna have the right type of music. The rig...

Mixed Emotions

So umm I'm sitting home and thinking damn, I'm about to start my spring semester. The firs one went way too fast. I don't know if I'm ready to be out the college scene so quick, I arguably had my best semester thus far in an overall sense. I feel like I'm getting the most out of everything. I met so many cool people, people i always hope to keep around me. But the next thing you know this thing is about to be over... granted I ge my credits situation together soon, lol. I sit in the house wanting my extra week of school I've had the last two years, but then again I'm ready to be back for all reasons other than academics, lol. Then you have my mind goin crazy with all types of stuff, got myself wondering what's wrong with me. Not to mention I've grown highly lazy in two weeks and hate the thought of having to pack my things back up,lol but these things must be done. BTW is anyone else upset that Circuit City has gone outta business?? I really loved that...
